Cloud Storage and Transfer for Digital Files

Great information, thank you.
I love that all the toolbars are available and you can see them.
Great information here. Thank you. Can I assume taking a QLI file(quilting machine design) and doing a Save As file adding a PES extension will work the same way so I can use the design on my embroidery machine?
Judie, changing from longarm stitch format to a machine embroidery format requires a couple steps to ensure that you're file functions properly. After opening the longarm stitch file, change to artwork. Save the file as in the .ANS format. Close the file. Open the file with the FILE>NEW (tab menu). Select QUILTING as your new mode and PES as your format. Open your saved ANS format, apply stitches and SAVE in PES format. This adds the start/stop tie ins/offs that embroidery files need. Make sure you have the correct hoop size selected and your design fits the sewing area of that hoop before you save.
@@KKsQuilts thank you so much for the helpful information.
Thanks. Do you have a video for bringing the design I to Art n stitch & how to make the design stitchable?
Check out my Art and Stitch Playlist on my Channel. There are two videos with more info on TTFs and fonts that come with Art and Stitch. Text 411 ua-cam.com/video/91YCdINTcUo/v-deo.htmlsi=KAVPF6BTabMo64Ec
You and I think similarly! Thanks for all your helpful tutorials!!
OH my goodness!! adjustable marker points!!! wow
Don't you just 💖LOVE💖IT!
Hello, thanks for the info. I am trying to do a quilt for my daughters witches hat quilt and she picked a design and bought it but i think it is not right. So wanted to finally learn how to se this software that i have had forever. And your videos but haven’t watched. Sorry. But now watched and encouraged me to learn this software for my handiquilter. I can use the handiquilter pretty well but sing the designer is what i really need. So is it possible to just take a Picture off the website before purchasing a design to see if it will work. Not to sew out but to see what it will look like before buying a bunch of designs. Thanks for your help.
Interesting on how you do your repeating rows. Will try it this week on my next quilt. ❤
Wonderful!
I really do enjoy your style of teaching. I’ve had my Q24 since Christmas..had shoulder surgery in February and am now getting back to sewing and using my Q24. Right when I got Queen B and my training was fresh, I quilted 4 or 5 tops easily and quickly. Now that I took a 3 month break it feels like I am having to relearn everything. Your videos are great. I struggle with the differences between Group, Link and Attach. I’m sure it is explained in my manual. Thanks again for taking the time to make this video!
Check my new video about the Connect Tool and how those options work: ua-cam.com/video/99bkEVcWex0/v-deo.html
Thanks for this video!

What designs were the designs you used? I like those feather sprig and c feather ring
The Feather Spray is available on my website with or without the center feather swirl. www.kksquiltstudio.com/store/p1180/Feather_Spray_with_Center.html
Can the app INKPAD or ADOBE DRAW be used to draw your design and then bring it into the pro stitcher designer software and turn it into the design you drew and put it into the formats needed?
Yes 👍
@@KKsQuilts do you have a video for that please?
@@ufoquilter86 To transfer a saved file from an iPhone or iPad app, you can send it to yourself in an email or transfer via cloud storage. No video currently.
@@KKsQuilts I would love a video if you can make one..I’m a very visual learner on how to do things..it’s a struggle. I don’t need a video on how to send it in an email, but rather receiving the email file then what to do with it next like. How to make it into a design in the software
Another good video. From my understanding the latest qmatic update now automatically saves several times, although I'm not how often.
Thanks! I am still learning, but I don’t recall an auto save feature in Q-Matic. I’ll check and absolutely set if that’s possible! I do know that Art and Stitch does have the feature and you can recall the saved file.
That is quite a creative staff you have, this looks amazing.
Thanks so much. I'm looking forward to watching this beautiful quilt come alive.
Sorry, looked into the system, please don't bother to respond.
I note you are using Bernina software, is it similar to EQ8? How do you like it and what is the program called? By the way, your designing is fantastic.
Thanks so much, even though I know how to do this I don't do it very often. It's good to have a video to refer to if I get brain funk! You are very good & clear with your explanations, please keep the videos coming. 😊
Such a pretty design. Did you create it in Art n Stitch or purchase it?
The center flower I already had (came with software). The blades, yes, were digitized by me in Art and Stitch. I'll have another video soon about placement with Markers.
You could certainly sell your designs. I look forward to more videos
@@quiltmekiwi the designs I used in this quilt will soon be available on my website. Check out my store! www.kksquiltstudio.com/store/c45/Digital_Longarm_Quilting_Format_Designs.html
It sure is!!!
Thanks, Chris!
You are so great at tell everyone just what you’re doing. The Bernina longarm looks amazing.
Worked great! Thanks for the explanation about tapping in the Start number box twice.
Great, Becky! Happy Quilting!
Great video!! Exactly what I needed!!😊
I'm very new to pro stitcher designer I'm inspired by your instructions I will be following your post thanks again 🙏

How do you use art n stitch to embroider a towel with a background fill ( knockdown stitch)
I am dumbfounded about how to download a design from let’s say urban elementz. Directly through my new updated windows tablet on my handiquilter prostitcher designer and then I to the catalog so I can place it into the urban elementz folder. And also put in keywords to find it on my prostitcher tablet file a lot to ask. Sorry
Don't know if you will get this so late in the game but I was wondering how you save the entire workspace? When I saved I got the designs but not the backdrop? Absolutely loved the tutorial. Just what I was looking for! Thank you!
Just for your info...I'm still here! No matter how long ago the videos were posted! The backdrop is saved as a "link" to where the image is stored on your computer. If you were to save the file and go to another computer or your machine tablet, then yes, there's no image (backdrop). And PS Premium (your machine robotics) cannot read image files...only stitch files.
The other issue is that PS Premium sees the layout as a whole design...you can't break apart and thus unable to sew a large quilt layout.

Thank you! Transform did what I needed today in v4.2, but I am so wishing I had a heart button to tell you I love this video. Of course, I'm on a deadline, and Thank You my extra touch on this project will be amazing.
So, can you trace over a line drawing with these and make a pattern?
With an image as a backdrop, you can trace around. Please be sure to observe and respect any copyrighted images.
Just what I wanted to know, this is going to ready expand my embroidery options for text and save me a ton of time. Thanks for the great info and clear explanations ❤
Great!!
Excellent video on the Plus photo wizard. I will try this on my longarm😊
i have Art and Stitch program on my previous ProStitcher tablet, how do i put it on my new tablet with Connect?
Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
WOW! How can I can thank you enough? I'm Leeanne who asked the question in your facebook group. I really appreciate you taking the time to make this video. I'm sorry I wasn't specific in my original question, it was for quilting. I don't have version 7plus but you covered a way around that - thank you!
Thank you! I haven't done mine yet. I have a Forte that's only 2 years old. I'm pretty sure my table will update and I am a Quiltable member so this is a good thing!!
Great tutorial, I am anxiously waiting to hear if they actually fixed some of the bugs that were in 537 that prevented me from using it. This is all very interesting and will be wonderful for a lot of people and a non-issue for a lot of others. I am going to give the update a shot once I finish the quilt I’m working on. This tutorial will come in very handy. Thank you for putting it together.
Check the known issues pdf. It appears there’s still quite a few issues ☹️
What do you do with the svg after you have brought it into art n stitch? Is this somehow used to make a digital design to use on your longarm program in a pat format?
I was hoping this would tell me how to install the updates. I downloaded the new update and tried to install and the whole program disappeared. I have reinstalled it but still have no idea how to update it. Is there somewhere I can go to find step by step instructions.
Muchísimas gracias por su apoyo ? Me gustaría saber si alguien ase los videos en español por favor 🙏 contésteme
you did'nt convert it, how do you do that.
HOLY GUACAMOLE! 🥑
thank you from a newbie! Work like a charm
Great tutorial! Thank you!
Although I just watched your clip just now I must say your method helped me problem solve “what to do creating a new bottom “. I have a pro stitcher lite and I could use the tools available to do just that. I have done many free motion quilts since 2013. But robotics is new to me. You helped me finish my Second quilt using my Gallant + Prostitcher lite. Thank you 😊
Good information, but you might make sure your mic is closer to your voice. I had everything turned up as high as it could go and you are so soft I can barely hear you.
This in wonderful information, I am going to try your method.
Do you stitch out your edge to edge , or the inside blocks completely and then go back and do all the boarders last?
It depends on the quilt top. Most often top border (with or without corners) body of quilt, bottom border (corners). Remove quilt and rotate. Do the sides (which are now top and bottom).
Thank you!
